Executive Legal Secretary

About the role

Walkers is seeking an Executive Legal Secretary to join its high‑functioning team in the Cayman Islands. The role provides senior‑level administrative support to partners and attorneys across multiple practice groups, ensuring seamless client service and efficient workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare first drafts of incorporation and formation documents using the Exari/Document Drafter platform.
• Arrange notarisation and apostille of documents and compile signature packs.
• Create, edit, and amend documents, including producing "black‑lined" versions.
• Maintain accurate electronic matter files and archive correspondence.
• File special and ordinary resolutions, amended constitutional documents, and director/officer changes with internal and external bodies.
• Liaise with registered offices to obtain current company constitutional documents and certificates of good standing.
• Safeguard client confidentiality and manage insider lists.

Required profile

• Qualified Caymanian or holder of a valid Employment Rights Certificate.
• Exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• High level of discretion and understanding of legal procedures.
• Strong communication skills to act as a liaison between clients, legal professionals, and internal departments.

• Proficiency with Exari/Document Drafter document‑automation platform.
• Advanced drafting and document‑management capabilities.
