Cloud Microservices Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Microservices Developer to join a forward‑thinking technology team. You will design, build and maintain cloud‑native solutions that enable digital innovation and support critical business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable microservices using modern frameworks.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, with optional GraphQL or gRPC implementations.
• Develop and deploy applications on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Create and manage containerised workloads with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes or managed cloud services.
• Implement event‑driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS/SNS or EventBridge.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment reliability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise performance, scalability and resource utilisation.
• Produce technical documentation, participate in code reviews and support incident resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience developing enterprise‑level software applications.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience building microservices‑based solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.

Required skills

• Java (Spring Boot).NET, Node.js, Go or Python.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Automated testing methodologies.
• API security standards: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT.
• RESTful APIs, optional GraphQL or gRPC.
• Messaging/streaming: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS/SNS, EventBridge.
