Trust Manager – Lead Trust Team

About the role

Trident Trust is seeking an experienced Trust Manager to lead its trust team, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and regulatory compliance for a diverse portfolio of private and commercial trust engagements. Reporting to the Head of Corporate and Trusts in the Cayman office, the role also collaborates with APAC office heads to develop and enhance trust products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive leadership and oversight of the trust team, delivering professional services to clients, intermediaries and advisors.
• Manage financial performance of the portfolio, including billing cycles, fee collection, debtor management and revenue targets.
• Maintain robust corporate governance standards across all client structures, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, tax and statutory obligations.
• Oversee administration and periodic review of complex trust and corporate structures, guaranteeing accuracy and efficiency.
• Respond to new business enquiries, assess opportunities, and prepare commercially sound fee proposals.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and develop team members through coaching, training and performance management.
• Liaise with Trident offices in the Caribbean, Hong Kong and Asia‑Pacific on cross‑functional trust appointments and regulatory matters.
• Plan resources and manage workflow to optimise productivity and service delivery.
• Participate in policy and procedure development, drive system adoption and improve processes.
• Support senior management with strategic initiatives, reporting and operational improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years experience in commercial and private trust administration.
• Strong understanding of trust governance, regulatory and tax frameworks.
• Proven track record of managing revenue, billing and debtor processes.
• Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple geographic locations.
