Senior Trust & Accounting Officer - Special Situations

About the role

The Senior Trust & Accounting Officer will manage and administer a portfolio of trust structures and related corporate entities within the Special Situations team. Working closely with a case leader, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day administration of trust structures and corporate entities, including client communications and case management.
• Drafting resolutions and agreements for trust and corporate matters.
• Preparing financial statements for complex corporate structures.
• Preparing and reviewing tax and regulatory reporting information.
• Managing banking relationships and third‑party activities.
• Maintaining filing systems, statutory documentation, and billing oversight.
• Liaising with legal, tax, and other external advisors.

Required profile

• Professional qualification from an internationally recognised accounting body (CA, ACCA, CPA); STEP, ACIS, CGI, CTA preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial services.
• Experience in corporate and trust administration, private client services, and international tax reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
