Senior Regulatory Reporting Officer

About the role

Deriv is seeking a Senior Regulatory Reporting Officer to own and drive its global regulatory reporting obligations. You will be responsible for the annual CRS and FATCA compliance cycles across multiple entities and lead the group‑wide implementation of the upcoming CARF reporting framework.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end CRS and FATCA compliance process, including account classification, self‑certification, monitoring, remediation and submission to competent authorities.
• Develop and maintain audit‑ready documentation for all regulatory filings.
• Assess Deriv’s current position against CARF requirements, identify gaps and create a detailed implementation roadmap.
• Build and deploy reporting frameworks and controls to ensure timely, accurate CARF submissions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI‑driven data validation and automation tools into reporting workflows.
• Support EU trade‑reporting obligations and ensure all submissions meet regulatory and audit standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in regulatory reporting, preferably with CRS, FATCA and emerging CARF obligations.
• Strong understanding of international tax transparency and financial licensing requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and deliver compliance solutions on tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and audit readiness.
