Senior Project Manager - Power Generation & Infrastructure

About the role

GateSource HR's Caribbean Division is recruiting a Senior Project Manager for a key client in the Caribbean. The role leads the execution of capital and infrastructure projects, including energy transition projects, by managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing engineering functions. Projects range up to CI$90 million and must be delivered on time, within budget and to the required safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise project support staff within the Engineering & Business Development Department.
• Manage medium to large-scale infrastructure and energy projects, including power generation expansions, facility renovations, new building additions, substations and other mechanical and electrical engineering initiatives.
• Ensure projects meet safety protocols, timelines, budgets and quality benchmarks.
• Enforce company safety procedures and standards across project teams and contractors.
• Provide engineering and project management support to internal departments as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 15 years of experience in engineering and/or project management in industrial construction, production environments or process optimization.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with electric utility operations.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
