Construction Manager – Custom Homes (Grand Cayman)

About the role

Tranel Group seeks an experienced, hands‑on Construction Manager to lead two active ground‑up custom residential projects in Grand Cayman. This site‑based role combines field leadership with full project administration, requiring direct coordination with design teams, trades, and company leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations, managing foremen, subcontractors, trades, vendors and consultants.
• Develop and maintain master schedules, short‑term look‑ahead plans and critical milestones.
• Control project budgets, cost forecasts, change orders and cost‑to‑complete.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, procurement, long‑lead material logistics and island‑specific delivery schedules.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, punch lists, closeout documentation and final handover.

Required profile

• 5+ years progressive site/project leadership experience with a General Contractor in custom or high‑end residential construction.
• Proven ability to deliver ground‑up single‑family homes from foundation through finishes.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, building envelope, MEP coordination and high‑end finishes.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors, foremen and trades while maintaining schedule and quality.
