Pharmacist

About the role

Kirk Market is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in George Town. The role involves delivering excellent customer service and ensuring accurate medication dispensing.

Key responsibilities

• Process new prescriptions and refills, update the computerized record system, and ensure accurate medication dispensing.
• Maintain stock medication, pharmacy inventory, and manage ordering and shipment of drugs.
• Review and order drugs, update drug destruction and expiry files.
• Train and supervise pharmacy assistants and technicians.
• Respond to enquiries from healthcare staff and patients, providing medication recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar pharmacy setting.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or higher and licensed to practice in the Cayman Islands.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers.
• Experience using pharmacy software such as QS1, Nexus, or Koroll.

What we offer

• Salary: CI$65,000 per annum.
• Full‑time 40‑hour week with weekend and public holiday shifts as required.
