HVAC Service Technician – Residential & Light Commercial

About the role

Polar Bear Air Conditioning is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join its team in Grand Cayman. You will work on high‑end Lennox central systems and indoor air‑quality products for residential and light‑commercial clients, providing top‑tier service in a tax‑free, tropical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential and light‑commercial HVAC and appliance systems.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams to resolve issues accurately.
• Communicate diagnoses, repair options, and recommendations to customers in a courteous, knowledgeable manner.
• Lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment safely, either solo or with assistance.
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure first‑time‑right completions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing residential and light‑commercial HVAC or appliance systems.
• Strong analytical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation with a desire to exceed client expectations.
• Physical capability to handle heavy items and work in hot, humid conditions.
• Willingness to relocate to the Cayman Islands and pass drug and background checks.
