Treasury Administrator – Captive Management (Cayman Islands)

About the role

Aon Insurance Managers, Cayman is seeking an experienced Treasury Administrator to join their dynamic team. The role provides treasury support and keeps cash books up to date for the captive insurance management team, with a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and process payments and maintain cashbooks where necessary.
• Raise payments via clients’ online banking platforms.
• Monitor monies on deposit and implement instructions for investment of funds.
• Enact subscription and redemption of units in cash funds.
• Deal with bank correspondence, investigate queries and update mandates.
• Liaise professionally with clients where necessary and keep client records up to date.
• Develop and maintain strong internal and external client relationships, ensuring effective communication with the captive team.
• Comply with regulatory and other standards as directed by captive managers.
• Follow internal Aon procedures for client and counterparty screening for all transactions.
• Meet deadlines, prioritize urgent transactions with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Utilize DocuSign and payments dashboard to manage data flow.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Prior knowledge of captive insurance companies is highly desirable.
• General accounting / bookkeeping experience, either in a similar industry or audit.
• Local banking platform experience is required.
• International banking platform familiarity is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Excel and Word is essential.
