Recruiter – Talent Acquisition Specialist

At Kirk Market, our people are our most important resource. We are looking for a motivated Recruiter to join our team and help us attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in recruitment or human resources, with knowledge of screening, interviewing, and hiring practices.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with managers to understand hiring needs and meet competitive hiring goals.
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across various open roles, ensuring quality talent acquisition and retention.
• Review, maintain, and update job descriptions, interview forms, and recruitment materials for accuracy.
• Post job advertisements internally and externally on platforms such as JobsCayman, the company’s career site, and social media.
• Ensure recruitment is fair, transparent, prioritizing Caymanian candidates and complying with employment legislation and data protection.
• Maintain accurate records of applicants, interviews, and recruitment activity, and perform pre‑employment checks.
• Partner with HR, Marketing, and managers to design and implement innovative recruiting strategies.
• Represent Kirk Market at job fairs and community events to promote the company culture and attract Caymanian talent.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of proven recruitment experience (food retail or hospitality experience is a plus).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• Database management and internet search proficiency.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Experience with HRIS platforms.
