Market Analyst

About the role

An established financial services organisation is looking for a Market Analyst to join its Cayman‑based team. The role is ideal for a professional with solid experience in financial markets who can thrive in a fast‑paced environment that demands strong analytical abilities, sound judgement and high accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day activity across foreign exchange, short‑term funding and broader financial markets.
• Monitor liquidity, cash positions and market exposures, ensuring activities stay within established risk parameters.
• Assist with pricing, execution and settlement of FX and money‑market transactions.
• Prepare market analysis, reporting and information for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counterparties to meet client requirements and identify opportunities to enhance financial‑market activities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in financial markets, treasury, dealing, investment operations or a related banking environment.
• Practical experience with foreign exchange, money markets, short‑term funding or liquidity management.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to assess market information and make sound decisions under tight timeframes.
• Good understanding of market risk, financial products and trading processes.
• Experience handling high‑value transactions.
