Assistant Financial Controller – Caymanian Status Holder

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Assistant Financial Controller to support the finance function of a leading industry client. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will help prepare financial statements, budgets and management reports while delivering timely analysis to aid strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
• Produce management reports and financial dashboards for senior leadership.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with current accounting standards and finance methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on finance‑related projects.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (CPA, CA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and management.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
