Licensed Clinical Psychologist

About the role

The Wellness Centre, a licensed health facility in the Cayman Islands, seeks a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to deliver evidence‑based psychological and mental‑health services across the lifespan. Reporting to the Director via the Clinical Manager, you will join a supportive, collegial environment with modern offices and professional development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical intake sessions, formulate case summaries, and develop treatment plans using standard measures and supervision.
• Administer and interpret psychometric assessments for diagnostic conceptualization.
• Provide evidence‑based therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, etc.) to clients with anxiety, mood, OCD, eating, personality, trauma and other disorders.
• Maintain an active caseload of 25+ client‑facing hours per week and present cases at team meetings for peer supervision.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with allied health providers and contribute to community education and wellness presentations.

Required profile

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with at least 1 year post‑licensure experience, or Masters with 3 years post‑licensure experience.
• Eligibility for registration with the Cayman Islands Health Regulatory Council (licensed in UK, USA, Canada, Jamaica, South Africa, or Australia).
• Strong foundation in trauma‑informed care and experience with diverse cultural populations.

Required skills

• Competency in CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR and other evidence‑based interventions.
• Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychometric measures.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
