About the role
The Director will service and maintain relationships with a portfolio of complex clients, ensuring compliance with AEOI, FATCA and CRS regulations. The role also leads the Associate team, overseeing performance, training and project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the independent FATCA responsible officer and primary contact for Reporting Financial Institutions with tax authorities.
- Review client documentation, ensure adherence to Waystone procedures, and oversee final sign‑off.
- Design, implement and monitor internal controls and operating procedures.
- Monitor accounts receivable and manage performance metrics such as KPI’s and board reporting.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Associate group, handling recruitment, performance management and workload allocation.
- Stay current with regulatory changes and provide training on AEOI, FATCA and CRS compliance.
Required profile
- Minimum Associate’s degree or legal qualification with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of FATCA/CRS compliance requirements and US Treasury Regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and travel internationally as needed.
- Excellent time‑management, organizational and communication skills.
