Experienced Butcher – Culinary Team

About the role

The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced butcher to join its vibrant culinary team. You will work on‑site, handling all aspects of meat preparation to ensure high‑quality cuts for our guests and banquet operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate meat cutting machines, grinders, tenderizers and slicers safely and efficiently.
• Perform deboning, trimming, portioning and grinding of various meats.
• Maintain sanitation standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to meet service demands and special menu requests.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering of meat products.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a butcher in a hotel, resort or high‑volume restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, handling techniques and food safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting and repetitive motions.
