Building Envelope Manager (Luxury Hotel Project)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Building Envelope Manager to lead the envelope works for a large luxury hotel and residential complex in the Cayman Islands. You will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence, quality, and compliance of all façade and external finish systems while managing a significant budget and a dedicated engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all trades related to the building envelope, including roofing, glazing, railings, curtain walls, and stucco.
• Define specifications, validate subcontractor proposals, supervise installations, and certify project handover.
• Lead a team of four site engineers, coordinating their work and reviewing technical analyses.
• Manage a budget of approximately $100 million, monitoring expenditures, controlling variations, and ensuring full administrative traceability.
• Coordinate with other discipline heads to anticipate interface conflicts, optimise the critical path, and produce monthly strategic reports.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and local and international regulations.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of construction management experience on complex, preferably international, projects.
• Proven leadership, autonomy, and ability to handle critical situations.
• Strong curiosity for technical and architectural challenges in demanding environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Project.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Experience using Revit.
