Funds Lawyer – Offshore Hedge & Private Equity Funds

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Funds solicitor to join the Cayman office of a leading international firm. The successful candidate will work with a diverse client base of financial institutions and investment managers, providing legal advice on the creation and ongoing management of offshore hedge funds, private equity funds, and investment fund platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on all aspects of offshore fund formation, including regulatory compliance and structuring.
• Support the maintenance and administration of existing hedge funds, private equity funds, and fund platforms.
• Draft and review fund documentation, offering memoranda, partnership agreements, and related legal instruments.
• Liaise with internal teams and external counsel to ensure seamless delivery of legal services.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor from Ireland, the United Kingdom or a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) within a Funds team at a leading law firm.
• Demonstrated experience advising on offshore hedge funds and private equity structures.
