Funds Associate – Investment Funds Team (Cayman Islands)

About the role

We are seeking a Funds Associate to join a leading offshore law firm’s Investment Funds team in the Cayman Islands. The role involves advising private equity sponsors, hedge funds and asset managers on fund formation, structuring, governance and complex cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with fund formation and structuring across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide guidance on governance, regulatory compliance and restructuring matters.
• Support the execution of complex cross‑border transactions for private equity, hedge funds and asset managers.
• Draft and review legal documentation related to investment funds.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers to deliver high‑quality advice to clients.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in funds or corporate law.
• Experience gained at a leading law firm.
• Strong technical and commercial acumen.
• Interest in building a long‑term career within investment funds.
