Senior Regulatory Compliance Executive

About the role

Deriv is seeking a senior professional to lead its Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) for licensed entities operating in investment, banking and virtual‑asset services. You will act as the analytical hub that anticipates regulatory shifts, assesses impact and translates complex requirements into clear business actions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end compliance monitoring programme for assigned entities, building new frameworks from scratch or enhancing existing ones.
• Monitor regulatory developments, conduct gap analyses and evaluate the effect of legislative changes on business operations.
• Prepare board‑ready documentation, including monitoring reports, risk assessments and regulatory updates.
• Manage timely regulatory submissions such as annual compliance reports and equivalent filings.
• Support preparation for regulator examinations and audits, maintaining comprehensive evidence packages.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to automate monitoring, gap analysis and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in regulatory compliance within fintech, investment or virtual‑asset service environments.
• Proven ability to interpret and implement regulatory expectations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong judgment to run monitoring cycles independently and make prioritisation decisions.
• Excellent written communication skills for producing precise documentation for boards and regulators.
