Senior Compliance Manager

About the role

A leading international professional services group is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to provide regulatory, AML/CFT/CPF and sanctions oversight across its Cayman Islands operations. The role will advise on complex client and business matters while strengthening the wider compliance function.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee high‑risk KYC, CDD, EDD and sanctions assessments and ensure effective compliance monitoring.
• Support inspections, audits, gap analyses and regulatory reporting.
• Provide technical guidance, process improvement, training and people development for the compliance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business or related discipline; CAMS or ICA certification highly desirable.
• 8+ years’ experience in professional services within a regulated entity, meeting fit‑and‑proper requirements.
• Proven leadership and people‑management experience, including cross‑jurisdictional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Cayman Islands AML, CFT, CPF and sanctions legislation.
• Strong analytical, written and presentation abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines while exercising independent, objective judgement.
