Revenue Controller (Legal Services)

About the role

Reporting to the Billing Manager, the Revenue Controller supports the firm’s financial performance by managing receivables, recovering debt, and handling billing queries. The role works closely with legal teams and clients to ensure timely payment and accurate invoicing.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with legal teams to support timely recovery of outstanding receivables.
• Contact clients to follow up on overdue payments in a professional manner.
• Reconcile internal reports with e‑billing platforms and resolve discrepancies with the e‑billing team.
• Resolve billing and account queries related to overdue invoices, both internally and externally.
• Provide general financial and administrative support, including ongoing reconciliations and ad‑hoc projects.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at streamlining and improving global processes.
• Respond promptly to enquiries from lawyers and secretaries across all practice groups.

Required profile

• High school diploma or associate’s degree with at least three years of relevant experience.
• Experience in financial or legal services is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to interact confidently with legal professionals and manage difficult conversations.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset and adaptability.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
