Restructuring Manager – Cayman Islands

About the role

We are seeking a Restructuring Manager to lead our offshore restructuring and insolvency practice in the Cayman Islands. You will own engagements from initial instruction through to completion, working with a portfolio of distressed investment funds and cross‑border cases.

Key responsibilities

• Drive restructuring and insolvency engagements, including formal appointments, contentious restructurings, forensic investigations and cross‑border matters.
• Lead and develop junior team members, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Maintain and grow client relationships across the portfolio, handling creditors, legal counsel and courts.
• Identify commercial drivers of value and make independent decisions without waiting for direction.
• Generate new business opportunities in the Cayman market and build a professional network.

Required profile

• 5+ years of restructuring and insolvency experience within a professional services firm.
• Proven track record of managing cases end‑to‑end.
• ACA, ACCA, CA, CA(SA) or US/Aus CPAA insolvency qualification (CPI or JIEB) valued at manager level.
• Cross‑border or offshore experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
