Laundry Supervisor

About the role

The Laundry Supervisor oversees daily operations of the Laundry Department, ensuring linens and event rental items are cleaned, inspected, organized, and ready for events on schedule. This role combines staff supervision, quality control, inventory management, and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise washing, drying, ironing, folding, sorting and preparation of linens.
• Schedule staff, assign duties, monitor attendance, productivity and quality.
• Coordinate with Operations, Event Planners and Inventory to meet event requirements.
• Maintain accurate linen and rental inventory and conduct regular checks.
• Track damaged, stained or missing items and complete required reports.
• Train and coach employees on procedures, equipment use, chemical handling and safety.
• Monitor labor utilization, daily production and departmental performance.
• Ensure proper use of laundry equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment and follow all company policies.

Required profile

• Highly organized, reliable and detail‑oriented.
• Proven ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and working under pressure to meet event deadlines.
• Physically able to lift items up to 70 lbs and work extended hours, weekends and public holidays.

What we offer
