Human Resources Administrator

About the role

An established retail business in the Cayman Islands is looking for a detail‑oriented HR Administrator to support day‑to‑day human resources and administrative operations. The role involves managing employee records, immigration paperwork and recruitment coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, monitor work permit expiries and ensure timely immigration applications.
• Assist with recruitment activities, job postings, interview scheduling and candidate communication.
• Support payroll preparation, leave administration and HR reporting.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or similar role.
• Demonstrated handling of Cayman Islands work permit and immigration processes.
• Good understanding of local employment practices and HR administration.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• High level of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity.
