Executive Legal Float Secretary (Cayman Islands)

About the role

Walkers is seeking a seasoned Executive Legal Float Secretary to provide high‑level administrative support across multiple practice groups in its Cayman Islands office. This dynamic position requires agility to step in during holidays, absences or peak periods, ensuring seamless continuity for lawyers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide secretarial and administrative assistance to lawyers across six practice groups, including Investment Funds, Insolvency & Dispute Resolution, Finance & Corporate, Private Capital & Trusts, Regulatory, and Insurance.
• Draft and prepare incorporation, formation, and filing documents for Cayman Companies, Partnerships, and LLCs.
• Manage registrations, special and ordinary resolutions, and updates to constitutional documents.
• Liaise with registered offices, obtain statutory registers, and coordinate filings with government portals such as REEFS.
• Support fund entity documentation, assist with fund terminations, and act as a professional point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified Caymanian or holder of a Residency with Employment Rights Certificate.
• Proven experience as an executive legal secretary or similar role within a law firm.
• Ability to quickly integrate into different teams and adapt to varied workflows.
• Strong organisational skills, discretion, and a client‑focused mindset.
