Civil Litigation Paralegal (5+ years experience)

About the role

The Civil Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys at Priestleys in managing civil litigation matters, ensuring efficient case handling and high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Organize case files and maintain accurate case records.
• Prepare, review, and format legal documents, pleadings and motions.
• Conduct legal and factual research and summarize documents and evidence.
• Coordinate deadlines, prepare hearing and trial bundles, and support all stages of dispute resolution.
• Liaise with clients, courts, and external parties.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a civil litigation paralegal, preferably in a commercial or offshore practice.
• Relevant paralegal certification or legal studies qualification.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Legal document preparation and review.
• Legal research and analysis of civil litigation issues.
• Drafting and formatting pleadings and motions.
• Proficiency with legal practice management software and standard office productivity tools.
