Team Lead Supervisor

About the role

Kirk Market is seeking a Team Lead Supervisor to join its Leadership Team in George Town. The role oversees the day‑to‑day operations of a designated team, coaching staff and promoting the company’s core values.

Key responsibilities

• Assign work duties and guide team members according to business needs.
• Motivate and inspire the team to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Ensure team members have the resources and tools needed to meet targets.
• Maintain open communication, provide ongoing feedback and excellent customer service.
• Coach Team Leaders on disciplinary actions, absence management, scheduling and payroll.
• Observe and uphold sanitation and food safety standards.
• Minimize waste through loss prevention and cross‑departmental transfers.
• Operate the POS system and balance cash when required.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership abilities and ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Knowledge of grocery/retail/F&B operations is desirable.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficient PC skills, especially with Microsoft Office packages.
