Senior Trust Control Officer

About the role

The Senior Trust Control Officer will play a pivotal role in strengthening trust control processes within a respected international trust business. You will support and develop a specialist team while contributing to high‑level financial crime, risk management, and governance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee trust control activities, ensuring reviews and control processes meet internal standards and regulatory expectations.
• Support financial crime, fiduciary review, and risk assessment activities, identifying and addressing compliance‑related matters.
• Maintain and enhance internal procedures, testing programmes, and quality‑assurance processes to strengthen operational controls.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members and collaborate with internal stakeholders on trust control matters.

Required profile

• Significant experience in trust and company administration within a regulated financial services environment.
• Professional trust qualification (e.g., STEP or equivalent) with strong knowledge of fiduciary and AML principles.
• Ability to assess complex client structures, identify potential risks, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements combined with excellent analytical, decision‑making, and leadership skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of fiduciary duties and anti‑money‑laundering regulations.
