Senior Tax Associate – Cayman Islands

About the role

A leading international professional services firm is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its growing tax team in the Cayman Islands. This position offers the chance to work with a diverse global client base while developing technical expertise in tax compliance and advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate tax compliance engagements.
• Analyse financial information and assist with tax reporting requirements.
• Support clients in meeting regulatory and compliance obligations.
• Research and interpret tax legislation and provide practical recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through high‑quality service delivery.
• Assist in managing engagement timelines, deliverables, and project execution.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Contribute to process improvements and best‑practice initiatives across the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.
• CPA, ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience within tax, accounting, or professional services.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Client‑focused mindset with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Experience reviewing financial statements and interpreting complex data sets.
