Marine Yard Worker

Kirk Marine is looking to recruit a Marine Yard Worker. If you are passionate about boats and the marine industry, this may be the role for you.

Key responsibilities

• Clean boats and SeaDoo's, remove new units from crates, assist mechanics with service work, and assemble/repair trailers.
• Perform routine maintenance on all equipment throughout the yard.
• Clean and prepare indoor and outdoor work areas to ensure smooth transitions between projects.
• Move boats to and from off‑site locations, including hauling and launching.
• Maintain an organized yard, load and unload deliveries.
• Perform facility maintenance, grounds keeping, and basic clean‑up around the yard.
• Cut and repackage fiberglass cloths and resins.

Required skills

• Mechanical know‑how and ability.
• Basic knowledge and use of hand tools.
• Ability to provide good customer service with clear communication and a pleasant demeanor.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklift, hand truck, dollies, and trailers.
• Maintain and use pressure washers or other small equipment.
• Haul, launch and block vessels using boat haulers, trailers and boat stands.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable clear record.
