Maintenance Engineer – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will independently manage and execute maintenance operations at a luxury resort, ensuring all systems function safely and efficiently. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role covers multiple trades in a high‑end hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to improve reliability and energy efficiency.
• Log all work in the maintenance system with detailed records of time, parts, and resolutions.
• Respond to emergency calls during overnight shifts, including guest‑room issues and equipment failures.
• Assist with minor renovations, fixture installations, and special projects while meeting luxury brand standards.
• Maintain organized, safe storage areas and monitor inventory of parts and materials.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a luxury hotel.
• Diploma or certificate confirming technical skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Physical capability to lift/exert up to 100 lb occasionally.
• Fluent in English and able to interact courteously with guests.
