Litigation Associate – Cayman Islands (7+ PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Litigation Associate with at least 7 years post‑qualification experience to join a leading offshore law firm in the Cayman Islands. The role offers the chance to work in a low‑tax jurisdiction while handling high‑profile corporate litigation matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead complex litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, arbitrations and negotiations.
• Coordinate with senior partners and international teams on cross‑border cases.
• Maintain client relationships and provide strategic legal advice.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of post‑qualification litigation experience.
• Background in an international law firm.
• Strong academic record.
• Willingness to live and work in the Caribbean.

Required skills

• Legal research and analysis.
• Drafting of pleadings, motions and briefs.
• Court advocacy and negotiation.
