Line Cook & Groundsperson – Luxury Resort

About the role

This dual position combines kitchen duties with outdoor maintenance at a luxury resort. You will prepare high‑quality meals for restaurant, banquet and special events while also ensuring the resort’s grounds, common areas and facilities remain pristine and functional.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold meals according to specifications, portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock assigned stations for restaurant or banquet service.
• Execute grilling, sautéing, frying, roasting and other cooking methods during high‑volume periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment and comply with health‑code standards.
• Perform routine groundskeeping, landscaping, outdoor cleaning and minor repairs across the property.
• Support banquet team with plating, garnishing and waste management.

Required profile

• 3–4 years experience as a line cook/groundsperson in a luxury resort setting.
• Culinary diploma or formal culinary training.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift/push/pull up to 50 lb and work in hot, humid or rainy conditions.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
