Laundry Attendant – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Laundry Attendant will manage high volumes of linens and towels to ensure a constant supply of clean items, supporting the housekeeping team in delivering exceptional guest experiences at a luxury resort.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort, launder, and treat soiled linens, towels, and other items.
• Operate industrial washers, dryers, ironers, and folding machines safely and efficiently.
• Perform stain removal and reclaiming procedures on heavily soiled or damaged items.
• Fold, press, stack, and organize clean linens for distribution.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report shortages or damages.
• Restock closets and housekeeping pantries on guest floors.
• Keep the laundry room clean, perform basic equipment checks, and report any malfunctions.
• Follow health, safety, and chemical handling procedures, and support sustainability practices.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years experience as a Laundry Attendant in a luxury resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial laundry chemicals and stain‑removal techniques.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift carts up to 50 lb, and work in hot/humid conditions.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Required skills

• Operating industrial washers, dryers, ironers and folding machines.
• Knowledge of industrial laundry chemicals.
• Stain removal techniques.
