Funds Associate – Cayman Islands

About the role

The Maples Group is seeking a Funds Associate to join its investment funds team in the Cayman Islands. This position provides unrivalled exposure to high‑quality transactions and the opportunity to collaborate with global offices across the Maples Group.

Key responsibilities

• Represent and advise fund sponsors on formation, governance, carry vehicle structures and related legal matters.
• Deliver operational and compliance support throughout the fund lifecycle, including portfolio holdings, acquisitions, restructurings and liquidity solutions.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years post‑qualification experience in funds or corporate law at a recognised leading law firm.
• Strong academic background with excellent written communication and drafting abilities.
• Practice management and business development experience.
