Food Runner – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Food Runner supports the Food & Beverage team by delivering orders promptly and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the resort’s dining venues.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to tables promptly and efficiently.
• Assist with set up and breakdown of banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linens, glassware, silverware, and décor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, banquet areas, service stations, and equipment.
• Ensure proper table settings, service ware, and presentation meet fine‑dining and banquet standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen, front‑of‑house and other teams to ensure seamless events.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years experience as a Food Runner in a luxury resort setting.
• Food & Beverage Certificate or Tourism Diploma or equivalent formal training.
• Knowledge of wine, cocktails, non‑alcoholic and premium beverage offerings.
• Ability to stand, walk and carry trays or items up to 30 lb for extended periods.
• Flexible availability for early mornings, late evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
