Executive Sous Chef – Ultra‑Luxury Caribbean Resort

About the role

An ultra‑luxury Caribbean resort is seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join its senior culinary leadership team. The role combines strong technical ability with genuine leadership, allowing you to lead from the front, develop a high‑performing brigade and maintain exceptional standards across a busy luxury resort operation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the culinary team.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and service.
• Maintain consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Support menu planning, development and seasonal changes.
• Manage food costs, purchasing, inventory and supplier relationships.
• Ensure strong food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Collaborate with F&B and Front of House teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Required profile

• Previous Executive Sous Chef, senior Sous Chef or similar management‑level experience.
• Strong luxury hotel or resort background, preferably international or Caribbean.
• Recognized culinary qualification.
• Hands‑on leadership style, comfortable in the kitchen and managing operational aspects.

• Cost control, purchasing and inventory management.
