Compliance Accountant – Regulatory & Financial Oversight

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance Accountant to join a leading Cayman‑based group. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Financial Officer, you will help maintain the firm’s compliance framework and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and monitoring of the compliance program across the organization.
• Assist in interpreting and implementing applicable regulations and financial crime risk controls.
• Prepare and review compliance reports for senior management and regulators.
• Collaborate with audit and finance teams to address findings and improve controls.
• Maintain documentation of policies, procedures and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) at Senior or Assistant Manager level.
• Minimum 2 years of compliance advisory experience, preferably within a Big 4 environment.
• Recent audit experience or completion of an audit contract.
• Interest or progress in ACAMS certification.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, financial oversight and financial crime risk.
• Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical controls.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
