Insurance Executive – Captive & Reinsurance Specialist

About the role

The Insurance Executive will handle technical insurance and reinsurance matters for a portfolio of Marsh Cayman clients, primarily captive insurance and re/insurance entities. This consulting, advisory, and managerial position ensures high‑quality service delivery and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the (re)insurance renewal process in a timely manner.
• Issue and input (re)insurance contracts, policy wordings, and endorsements.
• Lead strategic input into program structure, design, and analysis.
• Oversee claims processing and resolution, including claims reviews.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and act as Client Executive for nominated clients.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, service providers, and internal teams.

Required profile

• Internationally recognized insurance or risk‑management qualification (e.g., A.C.I.I. or CPCU).
• Minimum 7 years of (re)insurance experience, preferably with captive management.
• At least 7 years of recent experience building customer relationships in insurance management or client services.
• Working knowledge of investment and insurance accounting.
• Strong knowledge of captive and (re)insurance policy and agreement structures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of insurance accounting principles.
