Senior Financial Accountant – Grand Cayman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join a large Cayman-based group. Reporting to a senior finance executive, you will own financial reporting for multiple entities and support the finance leadership team during a period of centralisation and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and sign‑off financial statements for assigned group entities.
• Manage month‑end close activities and review balance‑sheet accounts.
• Support group and holding‑company consolidations.
• Lead acquisition and post‑acquisition integration accounting.
• Produce financial analysis, management information and dashboard reports.
• Partner with the Business Intelligence team to enhance reporting processes.
• Become a subject‑matter expert for the internal accounting platform and improve its utilisation.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Professional accounting qualification strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and month‑end close.
• Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements.
• Exposure to consolidations is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort working with financial data across multiple entities.
• Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.
