About the role
Walkers is seeking qualified Paralegals to join its Cayman Islands office across several practice groups, including Insolvency & Dispute Resolution, Finance & Corporate, Investment Funds, Private Capital & Trusts, and Regulatory & Risk Advisory. Key responsibilities
- Prepare first drafts of legal and corporate documents such as pleadings, affidavits, contracts, opinions, resolutions, and constitutive documents.
- Produce revised and final versions of documents, incorporating attorney comments and managing execution copies.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research and draft clear research memoranda.
- Manage and execute filings with courts, regulators, and registries as required.
- Support transactional and contentious workflows, including closings, bundles, registers, checklists, and delivery processes.
- Liaise professionally with clients, counterparties, and external service providers under supervision.
- Assist with billing, invoicing, record keeping, and document management.
- Maintain accurate matter files and ensure compliance with internal procedures and jurisdiction‑specific requirements.
- Participate in training, knowledge‑sharing initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
Required profile
- Qualified Paralegal or graduate of a legal secretary training programme, preferably Caymanian or holder of Employment Rights.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality legal documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multiple practice groups.
