Chef De Partie – Full-time Kitchen Position

About the role

The Chef De Partie role at Deckers is a full‑time, on‑site position based in George Town. You will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring every dish meets the company’s high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a designated kitchen station, preparing ingredients, cooking, and plating menu items.
• Monitor food quality, hygiene, and safety standards throughout service.
• Support smooth service during busy periods and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and the wider kitchen team.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
• Contribute ideas for menu improvement and adapt to operational needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar line‑cook role in a professional kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage time well, and maintain attention to detail.
• Collaborative attitude, clear communication, and a positive approach to teamwork.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Culinary training or certification preferred, along with a valid food handling or safety certificate.
• Commitment to continuous learning and delivering excellent guest experiences.
