Auto Parts Clerk – Full‑Time in Cayman Islands

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Parts Associate to support the day‑to‑day operations of our automotive parts department in the Cayman Islands. You will work closely with technicians and customers to ensure the right parts are supplied quickly and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers and workshop technicians in identifying and sourcing automotive parts.
• Research parts using manufacturer catalogs, parts databases, and supplier systems.
• Prepare quotations, process sales orders and invoices.
• Receive, inspect, label and organize incoming parts and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support regular stock counts.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with replenishment and special orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers on availability, pricing, delivery times and backorders.
• Issue parts to technicians for workshop jobs and keep proper documentation.
• Keep the parts department clean, organized and professionally presented.
• Handle returns, warranty claims and core/old‑part management where applicable.

Required profile

• Previous experience in automotive parts, parts counter, warehouse or automotive service environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of automotive parts and basic vehicle systems.
• Strong attention to detail when working with part numbers and orders.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technicians, customers, suppliers and other departments.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple orders and priorities.
• A valid Cayman Islands driver’s licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• Familiarity with automotive parts catalog systems.
• Experience using inventory/parts management software.
