Software Engineer II – DevSecOps

About the role

The Software Engineer II – DevSecOps will design, implement, and maintain secure software delivery platforms and automated CI/CD pipelines for Harmonic’s fund administration services. The role works closely with engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, and compliance teams to embed security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring automation of build, testing, security scanning, and deployment.
• Integrate and manage DevSecOps tooling such as SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets detection, and IaC security validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and security issues across cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Identify, analyse, and remediate vulnerabilities in code, third‑party dependencies, containers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Establish secure deployment standards, configuration baselines, and IaC practices to ensure compliance.
• Support monitoring of security posture, incident response, and disaster‑recovery initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar DevSecOps role within the financial services industry.
• Understanding of alternative investment products and offshore financial services is beneficial.

• Microsoft .NET ecosystem: C#, ASP.NET, IIS, SQL Server.
• Azure cloud services, Azure DevOps, Git/Azure Repos, PowerShell.
• Infrastructure as Code: Bicep, Terraform, ARM Templates.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Security tooling: SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets detection, container security scanning.
• Identity & access: Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, MFA.
• Networking & OS: TCP/IP, HTTP(S), TLS, VPN, firewalls, Linux, Windows.
