Mental Health Therapist – Clinical Services

About the role

The Wellness Centre seeks a licensed Mental Health Therapist to deliver evidence‑based interventions to children, youth and adults across the Cayman Islands.

Key responsibilities

• Provide CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR and other evidence‑based therapies to clients with anxiety, mood, OCD, eating and personality disorders.
• Conduct clinical intake, develop case summaries and treatment plans, and continuously evaluate and adjust interventions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with allied health providers and present cases at clinical team meetings for supervision and consultation.
• Assist with community education, public awareness events and deliver wellness presentations to corporate and community audiences.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counselling or related field with at least 3 years post‑licensure experience.
• Eligibility for registration with the Cayman Islands Health Regulatory Council (CPAM) and a current licence from the UK, USA, Canada, Jamaica, South Africa or Australia.
• Strong foundation in trauma‑informed care and experience working with diverse cultural populations.
• Clean police clearance.

Required skills

• Competency in CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR and other evidence‑based therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency using an electronic health record (EHR) platform for timely documentation.
