Senior Design Manager – Landscape Architecture

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead landscape architecture projects from concept through construction. You will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and construction crews to deliver high‑quality, functional, and aesthetically‑driven environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple landscape projects from design inception to completion.
• Define project scopes, requirements, and implementation plans with stakeholders.
• Develop design solutions, drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate in‑house designers and external consultants throughout the design process.
• Prepare and evaluate RFPs, consultant proposals, and design team requirements.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, quality standards, and code compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve design issues, and ensure successful execution.
• Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear communication among all parties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture with professional licensure and full membership in a recognized body (ASLA, IFLA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years post‑graduation experience as a Landscape Architect/Designer.
• At least 1 year managing projects worth $10 million under construction.
• Experience with USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 11b‑13b and design in tropical, coastal, or hurricane‑prone environments.
