Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent will handle room reservation inquiries from corporate guests, travel agents, and referral networks, ensuring accurate booking records and timely processing of cancellations and modifications.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update group contracts and rooming lists in OPERA and other systems.
• Work closely with clients, sales teams, and front‑desk staff to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage all aspects of group reservations from inquiry to final confirmation.
• Process reservations via email, telephone, or central reservation systems.
• Check arrival lists and communicate reservation information to the front desk.
• Handle advance deposits, cancellations, modifications and assist with preregistration activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑4 years of hotel room reservations experience.
• Advanced working knowledge of OPERA PMS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Associate degree or diploma in hospitality (advantageous).
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, courteous and solution‑oriented under pressure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
