Implementation Engineer, B2B

About the role

To implement, support, and manage world‑class Unified Communications (UC) and VOIP solutions for B2B customers, deploying premise‑based and cloud‑based PBX systems such as Mitel, Microsoft Teams and MyUC across the North Cluster markets.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain Mitel, Microsoft Teams and MyUC PBX systems on premise and in the cloud.
• Troubleshoot voice and communication issues to minimise customer disruption and optimise system performance.
• Provide regional technical support for all Mitel PBX deployments, maintain inventory and documentation, and act as escalation point.
• Collaborate with networking and security engineers to integrate UC/VOIP solutions, implement QoS settings and ensure secure voice traffic.
• Deliver technical assistance during installation, post‑installation phases, and create training materials for customers.
• Support sales and pre‑sales teams with technical input, site assessments and solution design.
• Monitor emerging UC/VOIP technologies and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, IT or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years experience in Unified Communications, VOIP or similar roles.
• Experience supporting and managing regional Mitel PBX deployments.
• Relevant certifications such as Mitel MiVoice/MiCollab, Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate, SIP School Certified Associate, CCNA or CompTIA Network+ (preferred).

Required skills

• Mitel PBX configuration and maintenance.
• Microsoft Teams administration.
• MyUC platform knowledge.
• SIP trunking, voice protocols and QoS optimisation.
• Networking fundamentals: VLANs, firewalls and security principles for voice.
• CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification (preferred).
• Experience with multi‑vendor UC environments and system integrations.
