General Pediatrician with Neonatal Experience

About the role

Integra Healthcare is expanding our dynamic, patient‑centred team, and we are seeking a compassionate, skilled Medical Doctor – General Pediatrician with Neonatal Experience to join our multi‑specialty clinic. Our services include Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Family Medicine, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, and Paediatric Physiotherapy.

Key responsibilities

• Attend deliveries of term and preterm infants as requested by parents, required by guidelines, or advisable in consultation with obstetric colleagues.
• Provide immediate newborn care, including initial assessment and management of NICU admission at Cayman Islands Hospital.
• Engage in resuscitation, stabilisation and transfer of newborns to the NICU when necessary.
• Coordinate and supervise therapists, assistants, nurses, dieticians, pharmacists and other support staff, referring patients to specialists when warranted.
• See paediatric patients in an outpatient clinical setting and manage all ages, referring to specialists as appropriate.
• Discuss test results and explain treatments or procedures with patients and families.
• Advise and educate patients, parents and the community on activity, diet, hygiene and disease‑prevention methods.

Required profile

• Medical Degree with specialist registration as a Paediatrician.
• At least 5 years of experience working in a level‑2 NICU or higher as a consultant.
• Currently licensed and in good standing in an eligible jurisdiction (Jamaica/Caribbean, USA, UK, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia).
• Fluent English with effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills promoting collaboration.
• Willingness to contribute to Medical Staff Committees and activities that enhance best practice and patient well‑being.
